What data we collect, why, who has access to it, and for how long.

Data controller

GLOBAL NE LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Place Northeast, Suite R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.
Contact: contact@gouttedespoir.com

Our services are aimed in particular at people residing in the European Union. We process their data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to fulfil the order and deliver the evidence.

  • First and last name — to identify the order and the customer.
  • Email address — to send the confirmation, then the photos and videos of the well.
  • Phone number (WhatsApp) — to send the evidence and answer questions.
  • Name to write on the sign— to write it on the well's sign. Optional, and replaceable by full anonymity.
  • Country chosen, amount, date, transaction reference — to track the order, keep the accounts, and handle any refund.
  • Browsing data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) — to measure audience and how effective the advertising is.

We neither receive nor store any card data. The card number is entered directly with our payment provider and never passes through our servers.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Fulfilling the order, producing and sending the evidence — performance of the contract.
  • Answering requests — performance of the contract, or legitimate interest.
  • Invoicing and accounting — legal obligation.
  • Handling a refund or a payment dispute — performance of the contract and legal obligation.
  • Measuring audience and advertising effectiveness — consent.
  • Sending information about the projects supported — consent, withdrawable at any time.

We take no automated decisions producing legal effects, and we carry out no profiling.

Retention periods

  • Order and invoicing data: ten years, accounting obligations.
  • Contact details of a prospect with no order: three years after the last contact.
  • Photographs and videos of a well: kept for the long term, as they are the proof that the service was performed. The name attached to a well can be removed at any time on request.
  • Cookies and trackers: thirteen months at most, then consent is requested again.
  • Browsing statistics: twenty-five months at most.

Who has access to your data

We do not sell, exchange or rent any personal data.

Access is limited to our internal teams, strictly within their duties, and to the technical providers acting on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payments and refunds (Ireland, United States).
  • Supabase — database and file storage (United States).
  • Vercel — website hosting (United States).
  • Resend — sending follow-up emails and the evidence (United States).
  • Dropbox — archiving photographs and videos (United States).
  • Klaviyo — sending information emails (United States).

  • WhatsApp (Meta) — sending the evidence, if the customer provides their number (Ireland, United States).

Data may also be disclosed to an administrative or judicial authority where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

GLOBAL NE LLCis established in the United States, and several of the providers above host their services there. The corresponding transfers are governed, depending on the provider, by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.

Security

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the admin area is restricted and authenticated. Payments are handled by a PCI-DSS-certified provider, and no card data is stored by us.

Cookies and trackers

  • Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work: no consent required.
  • Advertising measurement trackers (TikTok): they show which campaigns lead to an order. They are set only with your consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time. Refusing prevents neither browsing nor ordering.

You can also set your browser to refuse or limit cookies; some features may then be affected.

  • Right to erasure.
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to object.
  • Right to data portability.

Anonymity

You can ask for your well to remain anonymous: no name is then written or published. This request can be made at the time of the order or later, by email.
